WE DID IT!!!!!!!!

There are times in your life when you stop and truly appreciate the people you call friends. Saturday was that day for me.

After a year of hard work, countless hours of planning, and many evenings sacrificed for our team my friends spent 24-long-wet-steamy-wet-muddy-wet hours working our booth and walking the track in the name of team Pink Ladies.

Our team goal was $5,000 and I am very proud to say that we met our goal and even topped it by roughly $300 more!

Thank you for working so hard to make our team a success! You all are so GREAT!!!

RELAY FOR LIFE THIS SATURDAY!!!

Don't forget to come out to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life this Saturday, July 12th at Elyria Catholic High School.
My friend Elaine Perkins and I started this team three years ago when my mother Joyce Bristol died from advanced breast carcinoma at the age of 57. With help from a lot of really great friends we have become team "Pink Ladies." Our team fundraising goal this year is $5,000 and we are within reach at $4,200 raised so far!!!
The event will be going on all day on Saturday with booths full of activities, raffles, food, drink and fun! Relay for Life is a family event open to the public.

After yesterday's Italian Luncheon, our team reached 87 percent of our goal!!

Many thanks go out to all of my teammates that sold tickets, participated in the planning, collected donations, baked items for the bake sale, and volunteered their day! Without all of you, it wouldn't have been possible.

With our team goal only $ 669.52 away, I am certain that we are going to reach the 5K mark this year!!

ITAILIAN LUNCHEON THIS SUNDAY!

Please join us for our first annual Italian Luncheon this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion in Elyria.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets price includes: All you can eat pasta and meatballs, bread, salad and drink! We will also have a bake sale going on as well as a large Chinese Raffle with a bunch of AWESOME overflowing gift baskets!!

All money collected will go DIRECTLY to the American Cancer Society!!
